Wanted: Mentors

 

After a very successful first year, LLI’s mentor program is continuing. This program connects current LLI members with the new member class to respond to basic concerns or questions about LLI. Later in the fall term, the program also helps place new members in volunteer positions.

Current members who volunteer to be mentors will be paired with one or two new members.

2018 SummerFest

 

SummerFest returns this June with an expanded list of offerings and a little more time for each class. Classes will run from 9:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. From 10:30 to 11:00, a coffee break in the Olin Rotunda will offer a chance to socialize and relax.

Seniors-to-Seniors

Each May, LLI “seniors” gather to honor Bard College’s graduating seniors who were selected as recipients of the Dean Stuart Stritzler-Levine Seniors-to-Seniors Scholarships. The scholarships are awarded to the honorees to assist with their senior projects. The grants are one of the many ways that LLI strives to give back to Bard and to strengthen the ties between the generations.
