Host a Chinese Student Musician the Summer!

Bard Conservatory is looking for families to host visiting high school students from China from August 9 to 26.

Background

This Summer, Bard College Conservatory of Music will be hosting its first year of
Summer Academy for the Bard Youth Chinese Orchestra (BYCO), bringing in talented young performers of traditional Chinese instruments to the Bard campus for 18 days.

We are seeking families in the area to host the BYCO students in their homes for the duration of the Summer Academy (August 9 – 26, 2018). Hosting a student is not only a  generous way to support this new program at Bard Conservatory, it is an amazing opportunity for cultural exchange with talented young performers and to experience music performed on traditional Chinese instruments.
