Spring Events and Changes

From LLI President Tom Esposito

I hope you are enjoying another interesting spring semester at Bard LLI. I know you join me in thanking Anne Sunners and her Curriculum Committee for their inspired course offerings. We are always particularly pleased when we are fortunate enough to have Bard students participate in our classes as they do in Joan Tower’s very popular course, Creating and Playing Music.

I look forward to seeing you in Olin in our expanded hospitality room. I value listening to your thoughts and ideas about LLI and hearing how your classes are going.

Also, our recent member survey had approximately 120 who did not respond. We look for your feedback. It is your way of showing your interest in LLI and it is your chance to communicate with us about how we can improve. This is your LLI.

There was a meeting for potential volunteers on April 6 in Olin. If you were not able to attend, but would like to volunteer, please contact [email protected] or call (845) 758-7314.

We are in the midst of making changes to Bard LLI to align with our new Bylaws. We will alert you to those changes as they unfold. We are also modifying our calendar to align with Bard’s. You will notice that our Annual Business Meeting is moving from September to May 18. Please save that date. The event will begin at 9:00 a.m. and run until 11:30 a.m. And we can look forward to our yearly fall kick-off meeting in September with a new format.
