We are heading towards winter and fewer opportunities for outdoor activities. But Bard’s Stevenson Athletic Center has a beautiful 25-yard, six-lane swimming pool and offers paid gym and pool memberships to the community, including LLI members.
The Athletic Center is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The pool schedules times for lap swimming and for recreational swimming. The schedule is posted monthly. The pool also offers aqua aerobics classes appropriate for older adults and swim instruction.
There are a number of membership options — 3 months, 6 months, annual, weekends only, or you can buy punch cards good for 12 visits. They don’t expire and are $57 per person. Membership entitles you to the use of the pool, the gym facilities and to classes.
