Introduction
Never mix business with pleasure, so some people say. Not Bard LLI. On May 13th, members had a wonderful time gathering together in Olin Hall to celebrate life, catch up on old times, enjoy some culinary tidbits, and finally get down to business. See a photo montage of the event here.
The Year Ahead
President Nanci Kryzak requested approval of last year’s annual meeting minutes, announced the membership cap in the coming year (350), and introduced Robert Beaury, Treasurer, who presented the tentative LLI budget for 2022-23, which was unanimously approved.
Bylaws Amendments
Felice Gelman, 2nd Vice President and Chair of the Bylaws Review Committee, went over the suggested amendments to our bylaws that the team developed. These were previously approved by member e-voting and are now found on our website.
Changing of the Guard
Nanci Kryzak acknowledged the efforts of retiring Council members and introduced the incoming Council members. This transition will take place July 1st. We thank all those who have served and appreciate those members who will lead us in the coming year.
