Sand Mandala Construction in RKC Lobby

From Monday, May 6 until Friday, May 10, the Venerable Tenzin Yignyen, a Tibetan monk from the Dalai Lama’s personal monastery and professor of Tibetan Buddhist studies at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, will construct a sand mandala of the Buddha of Compassion in the lobby of the Reem-Kayden Center on the Bard College campus.

Around Bard – The Fisher Center

Range of performing arts

Fisher Center fare covers the range of performing arts: music, plays, dance and lectures/conversations. From cabaret to classical, there’s lots of affordable culture.
It is presented in two theaters: the Sosnoff — the large concert hall, and the Luma theater.

The center also serves as the presenting stage for the Bard Conservatory and for Bard’s Theater and Performance program.
