2019 Seniors to Seniors Tea

Held in Reem Kayden Science Center

LLI grants to Bard College graduating seniors are the Dean Emeritus Stuart Stritzler-Levine Seniors-to-Seniors Grants. Dean Levine supported the creation of LLI at the college and served as the college’s liaison to LLI for many years. We honored his contributions to LLI by naming these student grants after him.

Nanci Kryzak Joins Council as First Vice President

Nanci Kryzak is rejoicing in her new assignment as First Vice President of LLI. When President Tom Esposito asked her to take on the job after the departure of Jan Wallen, she agreed because of her desire to foster awareness of the extraordinary opportunities that LLI and Bard have to offer.

Nominees for LLI Leadership Positions

Council is the governing body of LLI. Key positions are elected by the membership for two-year terms. Elections for the July 1, 2019- June 30, 2021 term will take place March 15 – 29. Members will receive a ballot via email to participate anonymously. Please review these candidates to ensure your voice is heard.

Audiovisual Support Makes It Happen

Making It Happen

As when using a coffee maker or toaster oven, people seldom think about how it works until it breaks. And then often discover the reason it doesn’t work is that it’s not plugged in.

It’s the same at Bard LLI. Audiences take good AV for granted.

How Many People Applied for LLI Membership?

The Registration Committee expects to offer membership to all 56 people who applied to LLI. Acceptances will go out on July 15 and the deadline for paying the annual membership fee is July 21.

In June, 246 LLI members renewed their membership and 46 did not renew. The Registration Committee reached out to non-renewing members to confirm that they were not returning.
